What started as a passion project in a home kitchen blossomed into one of New Jersey's most beloved West African dining destinations. Chef Olaide spent 15 years perfecting her craft before opening her restaurant in 2017, drawing on family recipes passed down through generations and her formal culinary training.
Her mission with every dish is simple: that each bite transports you to Nigeria and West Africa. With 4.5+ stars across all platforms and a fiercely loyal following, it's clear she's achieved exactly that. "Come chop belleful!"

Olaide's Kitchen started as a catering business in chef Olaide’s home kitchen. In 2017, 15 years later, we expanded into the restaurant space providing fresh, hand crafted and delicious West African cuisine for the everyday.
Chef Olaide, who is the restaurant’s namesake, combines knowledge passed down through her family along with culinary training to create classic West African cuisine in a modern way. Her hope when creating each dish is that you will experience Nigeria (and West Africa) in each bite. With more than 4.5 stars across all platforms it’s no wonder our loyal guests patronize us again and again. Come chop belleful! Check out our full menu offerings
